Speaking through a representative, the SEC employees accused of viewing pornography while at work explained that they were doing so under the advice and direction of the agency psychologist.  According to the SEC representative "The pornography was being used by the employees as part of an end-of-the-day 'warm down' before rejoining society after spending the day dealing with the raw obscenity of Wall Street.  The employees would begin with warm tea and snuff films at 4:00 each afternoon, then work their way through hard-core gay and straight porn followed by soft porn and lastly a few pictures from Playboy then Maxim magazine.  After the warm-down, the employees would be ready to head out into world again, most opting to go home and take a very long, very hot shower."
