Technically a neologism (literally: new word) is any new word, but this contest is a kind of wordplay that challenges you to invent humorous new words and definitions based on existing words. The rules follow those originally laid out by Bob Levey who used to have a similar contest at the Washington Post. The rules are: you can only add, subtract, or replace a single letter in an existing word to come up with the new word. To play, simply add a comment with your new word and definition below. There may be a prize involved if we get enough interest and entries.
