After months of deliberation, President Obama has requested that 40,000 more troops be deployed in the War on Christmas. In a televised address to the nation President Obama said, "After listening to my Generals, our best civilian experts, and thoroughly studying the situation myself, I have decided to request a that a surge of 40,000 additional troops be deployed in an effort to bring the War on Christmas to a quick and successful conclusion. There are many who argue that Christmas is just another Vietnam, but I reject this argument. We can, we must, and we will prevail in this great struggle."
