White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs announced today that Joe Biden has been missing since December 18.  "Things had been quiet around here since the health care vote and Copenhagen, but we just thought it was because of the Holidays", Said Gibb.  Biden's absence was first noticed just before Christmas by the speech writing staff who had gone nearly a week without needing to write a "what he really meant to say" apology on Biden's behalf.  But it was another 5 days before the speech-writers reported their discovery presumably because they were enjoying the break.  President Obama has been meeting through the night with top advisers in the White House situation room trying to decide whether or not they should look for him.
