Dick Cheney Raises Concerns Again

E-mail

Dick CheneyAfter nearly a year of sniping at President Obama and sounding the terror alarm with ever-increasing hyperbole, Dick Cheney is showing no signs of slowing down and the American people aren't the only ones that he's worrying these days.  Given the astounding hypocrisy of some of his arguments (he sometimes complains that President Obama shouldn't publicly disagree with him because dissension emboldens the terrorists), psychologists have begun to worry that he may have become somewhat delusional.  Is it possible that he doesn't realize that he's no longer Vice President or that vice presidents don't outrank presidents?  Perhaps he thinks the word "Vice" is merely adjective that defines his former job as that of an "Evil" co-President - and he fears Biden just isn't up to the task.  Those close to Cheney insist that there hasn't been any change in his outlook or behavior.  His wife Lynn said, "That's my Dick.  He's always been a humorless blow-hard and it's been clear for years that he thinks vice presidents outrank presidents at least when he's the V.P. in question.  Lately he's just been acting like a mother bear and getting a bit crazy when he thinks someone is threatening one of his precious little wars.  It's kind of cute."  However, the psychologists remain unconvinced.  "How could anyone live in the distopic mindset of the Bush presidency for eight years and not be changed by it?", said Dr. N. Harold Anaski.  Meanwhile, it seems to have had the opposite effect on former President Bush who has spent the last year quietly living on a ranch in the countryside where there is lots of room for him to run and frolic.
